A Regional Ceramics Exhibition and Sale

Fired Works is the largest exhibit of functional and sculptural pottery in Georgia. The 9-day event is held in the Round Building in Macon's Central City Park each April featuring special events, workshops and more.

Welcome from Fired Works

The 11th Annual Fired Works Regional Ceramics Exhibition and Sale will be held April 16-24, 2016 in Macon's beautiful Central City Park. The exhibit and sale features more than 6,000 pieces of pottery by 65 ceramic artists from Georgia and the Southeast. Fired Works began as a local pottery show and has grown to become the largest exhibit of functional and sculptural pottery in Georgia.

In 2016, we are continuing our partnership with the Ocmulgee National Monument to highlight the connection of pottery-making to more than 15,000 years of continuous human habitation in the Ocmulgee River Region. Our featured exhibits will focus on Southeastern pottery and its place in the history of North American pottery and ceramics.

Fired Works includes special events such as Clay Workshops for Children, Corks and Clay workshops for Adults, Pints and Pottery workshops for Adults,  a Pottery Road Show, artists talks, and more. A Special Preview Party will be held Friday, April 15 with live music, food, fun, and an exclusive chance to purchase work before the exhibit opens to the general public. Tickets go on sale in early 2016.
