A Regional Ceramics Exhibition and Sale

Fired Works is the largest exhibit of functional and sculptural pottery in Georgia. The 9-day event is held in Macon's Central City Park each April featuring special events, workshops and more.

Welcome from Fired Works

The 10th Annual Fired Works Regional Ceramics Exhibition and Sale will be held April 11-19, 2015 in Macon's Central City Park. The exhibit and sale features more than 6,000 pieces of pottery by 65 ceramic artists from Georgia and the Southeast. Fired Works began as a local pottery show and has grown to become the largest exhibit of functional and sculptural pottery in Georgia.

In 2015, we are continuing our partnership with the Ocmulgee National Monument to highlight the connection of pottery-making to more than 15,000 years of continuous human habitation in the Ocmulgee River Region. Our featured exhibits will focus on folk pottery and its place in the history and culture of the Southeast. We're also featuring an expanded, opening-weekend experience in celebration of our 10-year history.

Fired Works includes special events such as Clay Workshops for Children & Teens, Cocktails and Clay for adults, Pickin' and Pottery, artist talks, demonstrations, and more. A Special Preview Party will be held Friday, April 10 with live music, food, and an exclusive chance to purchase work before the exhibit opens to the general public. Get your tickets beginning February 1, 2015 for Georgia's largest exhibit of its kind!
